If you make a Fallout 4 mesh check that "Single weight output" is selected. Enter names for "Slider Set File", "Shape Data Folder" and "Shape Data File" You can use the same "Slider Set File" for multiple outfits.

You need to open the bgsm files with Material Editor (it’s on nexus). The path to the texture file will be specified in there.
WebJan 11, 2016 · Textures are DDS files. There are a few image viewers that support the format natively, and there are plugins for Photoshop and GIMP. Personally I use Paint.NET, which has built in support for DDS and can save files in all three formats FO4 uses, and can do pretty much anything Photoshop can do.
